Without a doubt, the first option that comes to mind when we have an invitation to a wedding are dresses and that's fine, this season there are many options available that are elegant and look great.
Some of the strong colors that last from summer and continue to be a trend are lilac, fuchsia and red . Although we must not forget the usual classics such as camel and different shades of brown.
One option is to opt for a monochrome look or if you prefer a print, floral is an alternative that is very pretty for a daytime wedding, as it provides freshness and joy, in dark blue for example.
On the other hand, the long-sleeved midi dress , long to the ankles, is a perfect garment to attend a wedding. To combine it you can select a heel or strappy sandals. A colour? Purple will look great.
If you prefer to get away from the typical dress code, at Il Baco Da Seta, we suggest that you dare to wear a tailored suit , in addition to being warmer than the dress, it is the latest in terms of trend. Preferably, opt for a design where the blazer fits the waist and the pants are straight. An advice? Go for a vibrant color like fuchsia and combine it with accessories (earrings and shoes) in gold to counteract it.

In the previous photo we opted for a pistachio-colored skirt from the Liviana Conti brand. It is made of sequins and its length does not reach the ankles. Combined with a body-length blouse in the same satin tone that provides even more elegance. For the accessories, the chosen ones were open sandals with heels and purple straps, as well as the belt.
The next option is made up of a gray tulle skirt made of silk, merino wool and cashmere from the Fabiana Filippi brand. It's really soft to the touch and beautiful! We combine it with a sweater in the same tone, with a tight cut on the body and wider sleeves. The shoes are closed, with heels that elevate the look, in beige. A warm, but at the same time sophisticated alternative.
Finally, the sleeveless Essentiel dress was selected. Its length above the ankles, with a floral print, looks great. In black, with prints in lime and violet tones give it prominence. For footwear, we complete the look with stilettos with black heels and cape in the same tone.
